We purchased one of these for our daughter's room; she loves the light and the mist. She gets nosebleeds and this has helped her tremendously. It is quiet; the only time there is any noise is if there is water under the water reservoir. Then you have to empty it out, but since it is so small, it is not a pain at all. We just bought a second for the living room. We live in Colorado so it is very dry, it will run for about 8 hours before we have to refill the reservoir but you just pick it up from the top where it disconnects from the unit fill it at the sink and put it back, super easy!! We have none of the difficulties other people mention but I will update if we do! It also came with a 3-year warranty so I thought that was a good safety net iin case something breaks. In addition, there are no filters to buy so in the end it would seem this one costs a little more up front but saves a ton by not having to buy the filters etc.

The output on this unit is virtually non-existent. It might humidify a room if you live in a very small closet. The unit stopped working after about 4 months of regular use. I had to knock it on the table just to get it to start again.

Don't be fool by its high price and ultrasonic marketing scam. This humidifier DOES NOT increase the humidity level. I boughT two of them and a hydrometer to measure the humidity level. I ran them simultaneously for hours and hours and saw no effect. After 4 months of usage, one of them was burned out. I ended up throwing both of them away. Also, unlike how the product was marketed, it does create mold. DON'T BE FOOL!

Much like many reviews here... This unit worked OK for about 2 weeks. Then it started making a loud noise (sounds like a fan bearing is going out or something but I don't think there's a fan on the unit... maybe a cooling fan inside?). Since that started happening, it also doesn't humidify. In the first 2 weeks, it would go through the small tank of water in around 8 hours. Now it never evaporates the full tank... I think it's finished. Unfortunately, it seems like this is a cheaply built unit that they sell at a premium price-- packaging/website/technology all are there to make you think you're investing in a quality unit... but after just a few short weeks, it's garbage.

I loved this humidifier at first, it was small, quiet and easy to use. Then after about 2 weeks, it started being extremely loud, making a horrible sound like a cow wailing. I have tried and tried to make it quiet again, but nothing works. Also, I don't think this humidifier really even changes the humidity in the air- which was a disapointment. I do not reccommend this product to anyone.
